Rubber cap is captured to the unit and can be opened with a push of the thumb.

*NOTE: The CR123A Battery Storage Core is not recommended for use with the MOE+®, MOE-K2+®, or MOE® AK+ Grips due to their slightly smaller internal dimensions required by the rubber overmolding.
